Your privacy matters to us. Every order is sent in plain, unbranded packaging so that nobody but you knows what is inside. This page explains exactly how we protect your privacy from the moment you order to the moment your parcel arrives.

1How your order is packaged

Every order is sent in completely plain packaging with no branding, no logos and nothing on the outside to say what is inside. To anyone handling it, your parcel looks like any other ordinary delivery. You will be the only person who knows what is in it.

Larger items are dispatched in our plain, sturdy boxes, which come in a range of sizes to suit bigger products. Smaller items, such as condoms, are sent in plain, heavy duty padded envelopes. Either way the packaging is plain and unremarkable.

What the outside of your parcel will and will not show:
  • No mention of Ava Noir or the type of products inside.
  • No images, logos, slogans or branding anywhere on the box or envelope.
  • No markings on the back or sides of the parcel.
  • Only your address label on the front, plus a Royal Mail or courier service sticker depending on the delivery option chosen.

2Delivery options

You can choose between home delivery and collection from a local pick up point, whichever is more private and convenient for you. Whichever you pick, the packaging stays plain so your privacy is protected wherever the parcel goes.

3Sender and return address

Royal Mail and our couriers require a return address on every parcel. To protect your privacy this return address does not include the Ava Noir name. The sender shown on your parcel will appear as The Amexa Group, so nothing on the label reveals the nature of the goods.

If a courier card is left or a delivery notification is sent, it will not identify the products you have ordered.

4How charges appear on your statement

We understand that your bank or card statement is another place privacy can slip. The descriptor that appears against your payment will be discreet and will not name the products purchased or describe the nature of our business.

5If you are not in

If you are not at home when the courier calls, they will follow their standard process, which may include leaving the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour, or leaving a card to rearrange delivery. Because the packaging is plain, your privacy is protected wherever the parcel is left.

6Your information stays private

Discretion is not only about the parcel. We handle your personal and order information in line with UK data protection law and we never share what you have bought with anyone outside the parties needed to fulfil your order, such as our payment provider and courier.
